Wigs Guide a Beautiful Friend’s Supressed Femininity
My mother and I never thought the breathtakingly human Amelia Sharp, our family friend, would cover her head with medical wigs. Her extravagant hair added so much to her attitude. Have you seen her lately? There’s no doubt “Lady Fabulous” is still recognized because of her trademark toss ‘n turn. Not many in town know she confidently masks her medical hair loss under wigs. They work well.
Back in the day as youths finding our way in the hill country, we once stole the spotlights to every dance. Five years later, her medical hair loss kicked in and she went bald. I suggested some invisible lace wigs. Whatever, it didn’t matter much. What a strong soul, she took the time and showcased her threadbare confidence.
Attending the school’s baseball championship, we taunted the players till a numbskull retardedly threw the orb (or that thing they use) towards the fans. She jumped up for it when her head scarf jumped from her head, revealing her thinning hair. Totally upreturbed, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave right back at him. Attitude, did I mention she’s got it?
Of course, it eventually got to her. One time at our semi-monhtly game of bridge, when she quietly confided that she prefers to do without hair out of anger. She could never look at lace wigs, even if she wanted one. Then just like that miss invincible stopped talking and asked that I drop it. I had to oblige.
I thought about it all night. The next morning, I called about getting her a new wig. After a long deliberation we both came to the perfect solution: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. We have a knack for making online wig shopping fun.
We had a ball wig shopping, flabbergasted by the wide selection of hair colors, textures and styles. We never knew that human hair wigs are very appealing for people, even superstars. These synthetic wigs brought out her youthful spirit. I arranged a completely contemporary ensemble around our wigs. We stand together, you know. Not long ago she sent me her thanks for invisible lace front wig, and said it rekindles a new attitude that she’d forgotten. It’s encouraging to have helped little miss attitude live a happier existence. She’s a better person, with the same confidence.
